Going to my first ever Pizza CUP (EFL Trophy) game against Colchester with my 13 year old as it's the only game on while his friend is down with us for a few days. Given the stadium is likely to be pretty quiet any recommendations on where to sit to get the best atmosphere. I was thinking section 6 the most obvious choice but is it pretty dead anyway for these games? |  |

There doesn't tend to be much atmosphere throughout the stadium for these games. Given the flat rate for tickets, you're probably best to seek out the best view instead. |  |

Probably be a few more people go to the Colchester game.

I remember the atmosphere was fairly drab against Newport last year so probably the best bet, hopefully we win and get a Prem side in the next round then you'd want to look to the north. | |

They should combine the two competitions. Set aside a week in August and play all the games, every round. 10 minute halves. No actual games. FM style via zoom. Get it all over and done with quickly. |  |

I’ve always banged in about using the international breaks for the pizza cup with the two opening games of the season used for EFL cup and pizza cup. This year there is a massive international break in November. Pizza cup, EFL cup rnd 2 and FA Cup rnd 1 could all be played then with no cry offs for international call-ups. | | | |
