First time listening tonight, he’s great, better than Brenner and Ian Westlake is fantastic as the co-commentator.

Really?
I'd say hes been improving over the games. But with Suffolk being available, id choose brenna every time.

Not sure its the quality of the commentary although imo its better. But there is something weirdly soothing about hearing brenna's dulcet tones.

I would very much doubt that applies on a radio feed.

Fine for visuals though.

He’s very good on the visual feed but I’m not sure he suits just audio.

I think Brenner has a personality, and that is what all good commentators have. The new commentator has improved, but is a bit of an identikit commentator. Of course, if you're watching rather than listening, the commentary is slightly less key.

Westlake.

To be fair he did concede he may have been wrong given the responses online.

But yes, he should have at least watched the highlights in preparation for this evening!

I miss Brenner, but it is what it is. This new setup is fine and I’m sure I’ll come to associate it with us in time. He’s a decent pick. Just not as distinctive as Brenner.
