One of the the stupidest red cards i've ever seen. Gave the ref no choice with the yellows and not only were they preventable, he went looking to commit the fouls. Odd. |  |

Didn't think there was much individual quality across their entire defence. Did a decent job as a unit and the pressing from those in front of them meant they weren't constantly bombarded but any time one of them was isolated they looked utter pony.
Ahadme did a good job of hustling him into committing the foul but the manner of the fouls themselves was totally stupid an ill-disciplined. |  |

I don't think Ahadme knew anything about the first contact, he was looking then other way when Thomas clattered into his back. Likewise there was nothing that he did to encourage Thomas to clasp in with both arms round the body. He did do well to keep upright and try to turn though, that brought the final foul. | |

That always makes me laugh when blatantly caught in the act with recorded footage to boot.
It strikes me that if they hadn't managed to become footballers, some of these players would be the country's most bungling burglars. |  |
