Hard to feel sorry for Barca really, a club that continually seems to flout the financial rules and get away with it.

Some sympathies for Griezmann here though although he did engineer the original move to Barca at a reduce price (allegedly) so also seems cheeky of him if he was to complain too much.

What a mess. The money men ruining football again. Obviously Griezmann is ridiculously well paid, but it seems clear he wants to play. He’s probably got enough cash that he’s not worried about the money in any case. Time isn’t really on his side either is it. I’d be right pissed off if my last few years of playing at the top was being messed up by some self-important suits. Luckily it’s not something I have to worry about though!
