Gutted for Greg Leigh, really love the energy and enthusiasm he brings.

Does anyone else find the final 'aren't the fans amazing?' question at the end of every interview a little tiresome?

Just feels such a 'policy' question to force the interviewee to roll out the platitudes. Which, for me, takes away from it somewhat.

Especially whilst being top

Ask the question if we get to 4 games without a win.

There are two sides to this.

I agree, let’s see how fans react if we were to have a run of games then drop some places, we’ve already heard about the sarky Ladapo songs this week.

I rather the club sees fans as integral to what is going on than us being held on the outside of it all. With that, it’s reasonable to hear a credit comment from game to game. I agree, it doesn’t need to be every interview, pre/post game is fine.

Yep without a shadow of a doubt.

That interviewer is so bad with his dull voice and the exact same questions each week. But what I find strange is ITFC must like him as otherwise they would change.....

Leigh is a loss, for sure.. It's quite an important substitution we make on around 70-75 minutes. Not just to keep our own tempo going. But to combat any fresh legs that the oppo' brings on. Plus he brings a bit of aerial threat/security .Although, I think we've got enough squad options to jig things atm. Freak injury really, in terms of the longevity. I'm sure KM would have expected one or two knocks and strains along the way. But probably looking at 3 months out for Greg to be match ready... Davis is quality though. So no need to panic for me.
As for the interviews?. I find them all to be very "friendly". If a little prescribed..
By that, I mean, the interviewer seems keen to keep it nice and simple and comfortable for staff and players alike. And I'm ok with that. Hate seeing a manager or player squirming with an awkward question, at the hands of their own media.
A nod to the fans is only a good thing, imo. Even if it comes across as a repetitive comment. For those travelling to matches, to feel appreciated. never gets stale, imo. And, tbf, although the question gets asked a lot in the interviews. The manager's and player's reactions and positive comments towards our support always come across as genuinely appreciative. And not just lip service.

My main feedback to the interviewer is that fairly regularly he asks a question that that person who is being interviewed had actuallly just covered in their previous response and they then basically repeat what they'd said. I don't think they do a bad job but we're blessed with a very eloquent manager and several of our players are equally eloquent - for these people the interviewer probably just needs to ask them a general question at the start and let them go!

See what you mean.. Yes, maybe just let them go, and then prompt any dead air, and a nudge towards anything they might not have covered... It's all very tame, though, which I like... I expect that anyone trying to make their way in a media career, is very careful not to ruffle too many feathers on route..I have noticed the odd repeat question, too, and thought, "He's already covered that"... I like McKenna's interviews. He does cover quite a lot of ground with just a simple leading question Do you know, sometimes, I get the impression that McKenna is trying to make the interviewer feel comfortable, and not vice versa.
KVY always comes across as very eloquent , for me. When I first heard him interviewed. I was quite surprised, in a refreshing way.
