feelgood story 15:18 - Oct 18 with 1419 viewsThe1978

I went to PR on Sat with my family and a friend from Georgia, USA. After the game we went out in Ippy. Left the pub at 10.30 and started walk back to our car along St. Nicholas st.
A guy (local) came up to my friend and said 'where are you from?'
I must admit I was a little concerned at this point.
'Georgia, USA' came the reply.
'Well I'd like to thank you and the Americans in charge of ITFC for giving me back my club' he said. 'Weve got our hope back and we will go up this year'
My friend was thrilled. He's posted all over the Georgia media of his fantastic day, and welcome, in Ipswich. Who'd have thought eh.

He posted to the ITFC USA fb page about his day, sounded like he absolutely loved the game, atmosphere and Town fans. Shame we couldn’t win for him!
