McKenna the first since…? 18:10 - Oct 21 with 956 viewsHciwspi

I’m hoping this is a long way off…

I was saying to my wife last night that I reckon McKenna could be the first manager since Sir Bobby Robson to go on to bigger and better things (ie leave for a “bigger & better” club)

Think I’m right in saying that? Everyone else has left because they’ve ultimately failed (despite a promising start sometimes).

Paul Hurst has gone on to bigger and better things, namely winning the National League play off final against Solihull Moors.

And GB went on to have a little bit more 'success' with Southampton (Championship PO) and went on to manage internationally. I'm struggling to think of anyone else though.

I think what I was trying to say is that it’s possible (likely) that we may get approached by another club while McKenna is still in our employ.

That sounds better. A bit.

Lambert presumably still enjoying the rewards of his five year contract before he gets back into management.
