Penalty record since relegation 22:30 - Oct 21 with 886 viewstractordownsouth

Sorry to start another penalty thread but after pondering our conversion rate since relegation I've been on Transfermarkt to look at our record. Our overall conversion rate is 53%, with 8 goals and 7 misses. Surely that's the worst in the EFL?

19/20:
4 scored: (Norwood v Bolton, Norwood v Shrewsbury, Norwood v Peterborough
, Garbutt v Blackpool)
2 missed: (Norwood v Peterborough, Jackson v Fleetwood)

20/21:
1 scored (Norwood v Swindon)
2 missed (Norwood v Swindon, Norwood v Accrington)

21/22
2 scored (Pigott v Wimbledon, Chaplin v Gillingham)
1 missed (Fraser v Burton)

22/23
1 scored (Evans v Morecambe)
2 missed (Chaplin v Morecambe, Jackson v Derby)

So what you are saying is Norwood was a terrible penalty taker…

That's pretty awful isn't it. They should just watch some tapes of Ray Stewart taking them from the early 80s, that will increase the strike rate.

The Derby goalkeeper was clearly off his line though and the linesman is staring straight at it and ignores it. Just because he's given us the penalty he bottled a further decision against Derby to avoid being their public enemy #1

Norwood scored against Peterborough at home. 19/20 I think.

Edited. Numbers are the same though, he didn’t score one against Bristol Rovers so that must have been the one I got confused.

Transfermarkt only has the numbers of penalties, not the games they were in, that but is the guesswork which I think I’ve now got right.
