US airmen are appalling drivers in this country. Most of them aren't used to traffic, or roundabouts, or how crossroads work here.
The USAF also suspects that young servicemen, perhaps away from home for the first time and working in a highly stressed environment, can look to commit suicide by driving on the wrong side of the road. |  |

I think it is a reasonably regular thing for people who are used to driving on the other side of the road. Probably wise not to ride a motorbike anywhere near a US base but that shouldn't really be the answer. |  |
