Blimey. Never understood why these celebrities want to spend so much money to make themselves look worse.

The continued attempt by capitalism to create a problem they can profit from by claiming to have the solution, particularly around happiness and appearance?

Ageism in society and how we generally look down on older people?

The fact these two issues are somewhat things we all wrestle with as humans (or will do if we are lucky enough to get old) but famous people often have the capital to seek extreme fixes rather than find peace in the process of whatever conscious evolutionary space dust we are?

I think the answers are quite clear and tragic. Not a fan of Simon Cowell and not really phased by his existence, but I do feel it a bit mean to have whole thread taking jabs at someone's physical appearance.

I've seen others argue he's a bully himself and deserves it - by all means bully him about things he could change like not being a constant vindictive arsehole for money.
