McGuinness Potentially staying at Wednesday on 17:11 - Jan 10 with 1905 views | Zx1988 | For extra context, it seems that Cardiff are unable to re-register their own players unless they pay Nantes £5m in respect of the Emiliano Sala transfer. I understand such an embargo preventing them from signing players, but it seems a bit odd for it to prevent them from bringing their own players back from loans.

They’ve paid the first instalment tonight and are hoping for the embargo to be lifted. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/64228188 Whilst I only brought it up due to the possible impact it has on one of our rivals - the whole sorry story does not paint Cardiff in a good light.

No, paints Cardiff in a terrible light. I worked there all the time when they were in the Prem and it was the Vincent Tan show back then, literally from game to game. He's withdrawn a bit now, but I find it unbelievable that a club was able to sign a player and then he was allowed to travel twice with seemingly neither club insuring him.
