After these next three home games we will have a good handle on how the season 10:32 - Jan 12 with 816 views | GeoffSentence | will pan out for us. Good results against Argyle and Wednesday it will be time to get the deckchairs out. Bad ones and we had better prepare for a nervy play-off campaign. Season defining four weeks coming up.

But I would believe that we do have the consistency and ability to go the whole way. A bad few weeks and I think we have to resign ourselves to Play-Offs (at best..)

Haha! Yes, the deckchair comment was tongue in cheek. Like you I think it will go that way, good results and we are well set up for the rest of the season but with no guarantees, but if we lose to both Plymouth and Wednesday I think they will be too difficult to catch and play-offs will likely be our fate.

After these next three home games we will have a good handle on how the season on 11:03 - Jan 12 with 677 views | LankHenners | Have said before but other than those 2, our next 8 league games are all great opportunities for lots of points. Apart from Bristol Rovers who are showing themselves to be a tricky test (although we have beaten them fairly routinely already this season), they're all against lower end dross (harsh on Oxford maybe but we've smacked them once). Argyle and Wednesday also play each other during this period so lots of scope for the top 3 having a bit of a switch-up over the next few weeks. I don't think it's the end of the world if we don't beat either of the top 2 (although a draw is obviously much more preferable to a loss) but if we did then it'll give everyone a lot of confidence and really set everything up for a strong run-in.

I think if we can bridge the gap to plymouth down to 4 points after sat. And keep within 2 points or level with Wednesday.. we will go onto auto promotion with these new signings. But we need 2 wins in these 2 big games. Any less and I think top 2 becomes go difficult.
