Maybe, just maybe it's our turn to have a little bit of luck. We have to get 3 points tonight first and foremost, but it certainly won't harm us psychologically if we can cut the gap tonight to 4 points, knowing that a win against them in a few weeks could bring us to within a point of them or even take us above them. Cambridge in between is a game we have to win if we are serious about the automatics. Wednesday's next two league games are Plymouth and us. A draw between them is a great result, but if Wednesday win and we win against Morecambe and Cambridge then suddenly we are just 4 off Plymouth. So many refereeing decisions, deflections, sickness bug and even the fog have conspired against us in addition to the failings within our control. With no Plymouth or Wednesday games it's a massive chance to close the gap to what it was before Saturday, start a run of winnable matches in the right spirit and not let that gap grow any more. Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth having any kind of fixture backlog won't harm us either. Ultimately we have to do our bit and win our games, but also feels like a tiny little helping hand in how achievable the players would suddenly view it if we win the next two, we are right back in it no matter what happens elsewhere.
