Some sloppy passes from Hirst, Harness and Humphreys a bit frustrating altho the game had all the pace of a funeral procession by then.

I actually felt a bit sorry for the lads coming on in the 2nd half, that was the best display I’ve seen ITFC produce in years in the 1st half and there was no way they could reproduce it with the changes from both teams. |  |

Watching the last 20mins of that game was probably most misrepresentative way to understand the Town match performance possible.
First half was electric, we were unplayable, and some of the interplay and attacking movement was remarkably good. In fact I can’t remember a better Town first half period in recent memory… Chaplin, Burns and Ladapo very exciting… Broadhead looked dangerous and classy… and as for Clarke… he just looked a class apart
Second half was flat, as were many of our jaded fans |  |

A typical Man City like performance that we often see from them, mega first half, game gets won, then foot off the gas in the second, make early changes etc
