Parking at Derby …. 17:54 - Mar 9 with 1354 views | ArnieM | There’s a Park & Ride called Pride Parking or something similar, but I thought I saw somewhere that you can’t use it on match days . Does anyone know if that’s true, and if so where else is good to park ? Thanks in Advance …

I would park on london road, near wickes, google wickes in derby for sat nav directions and then you can walk to the ground in less than 10 mins. Theres street parking if you are early enough but also a matchday carpark there which i think is £5. Hope this helps🙂

Is the Navigation pub still open? I parked there a few years back, handy location.

Trying to get my head round this. Derby has a large car park near to the ground but close it for match days. If Derby Council complain they are short of cash and have to put up the council tax then how about this money spinner. 23 times a year x 500 cars @ £5.00 = £57,500. That's the salary for 2 care workers. Perhaps Derby Council doesn't care? (See what I did there)

The park and ride doesnt operate on match days is what i meant, the car park itself is for the arena, which is a velodrome but as far as im aware its not used for matchday parking

I wasn't criticising you Tractorgirlforever just your council. We have the same stupid council decisions where I live. They're usually because it's what the makes the opposition angry rather than benefiting anyone.

Brilliant ðŸ‘. Thanks very much for that. I’m up in Derbyshire that week snd will be going to the game, but friend who I’m with is going into Derby while I’m at the game. So if the P&R is closed have you any idea what / where the best place is to pick up a bus into city ( bus number?). Thanks for your help though 👠
