Its noticeable that Burns has looked somewhere near back to his best these last few games. Since the Wales squad was due to be announced. And especially after his inclusion. If it gets the best from Burns in a Town shirt, then it'll do for me..
I know what you mean about players getting injured on International duty. But they could just as easily get injured on the training pitch, here... We've had a few like that this season.
I do feel, that having a few Internationals in the building, can only serve to push the levels of other squad members. Especially younger players, like Humphreys, for instance. And it signals ,to potential signings, that players at Ipswich, playing under KM, can get noticed. Just another selling feature when trying to attract a certain type of player. Imo.
