Once I'd finished celebrating and running round the room I just sat on the sofa and absolutely sobbed. This means so, so much to me and I hadn't realised just HOW much. I mentioned on another thread why I was so grateful for something to cheer about and it all got a bit much tonight. Can't put my finger on what it was; it wasn't relief because I strangely wasn't nervous at all before the game, I just have full confidence in this group of players. What set me off was the scenes at the end and particularly the shot of McKenna grinning away celebrating. I don't think I've ever seen him smile so much and I wished in that moment that I could've just hugged him and said thank you for the entertainment all season and giving us something to be proud of.
