What does that really mean? Nothing i assume. They can still sign for another club. Im not sure why Luongo would appear on the list as technically hes out of contract and will just be a new signing?

The retained list includes those you want to keep and have offered new terms. This is clearly stated in the press release. Retained doe not mean we are not open to offers, be it those out on loan this season or even those in the first team squad. This will be resolved over the summer ahead of the window closing.

Players have a month to accept/reject new offer, so are probably still thinking about whether to accept. Some may be on holiday.
