I saw that yesterday and it made me cry! Bit of both.
Anyone who sees the look on her face and doesn't get a brotherhood/sisterhood feeling, and decide that we have to do everything possible to protect the natural populations and habitats of the great apes, needs 'to give their head a wobble'.
We need to sacrifice human comforts and selfish whims, in order to protect the natural world and our own futures. There's no way round it.
The Bearman of Donegal was on the radio this week saying that when he rescued bears that lived in concrete enclosures that they were afraid of walking on grass. He had to teach them to climb and and behave like bears. One rescued bear damaged its teeth biting on the bars of the enclosure and died during the operation to repair the damage ( not able to eat ).
