There's not a route to him getting into the side at the moment but give it a year and he could be a starter so getting rid on a permanent would have been a very big risk. Hopefully he gets an improved contract to recognise this. |  |

His current contract runs till next summer, but we have an option, so essentially 2 more years.
I like Idris but a loan makes sense atm. A top end league 1 team would be ideal - Derby were mentioned at one point.
We've 17 players out of contract next summer, most with options, but a lot will likely just move on. I think we'll see a lot of transition over the next 12 months, which may give an opportunity to the likes of Idris. |  |

Indeed, he could not have done much more in League Two and he's only 22, so if he rips up league one next season he'll be ripe for the championship in 2024. |  |
