Happy El Mizouni is going out on loan 18:23 - Jul 1 with 896 viewstractordownsouth

There's not a route to him getting into the side at the moment but give it a year and he could be a starter so getting rid on a permanent would have been a very big risk. Hopefully he gets an improved contract to recognise this.

His current contract runs till next summer, but we have an option, so essentially 2 more years.

I like Idris but a loan makes sense atm. A top end league 1 team would be ideal - Derby were mentioned at one point.

We've 17 players out of contract next summer, most with options, but a lot will likely just move on. I think we'll see a lot of transition over the next 12 months, which may give an opportunity to the likes of Idris.

Indeed, he could not have done much more in League Two and he's only 22, so if he rips up league one next season he'll be ripe for the championship in 2024.

I suspect he's not going to make it with us. Sorry, that's a bit negative and I hope he does for his sake, obvs. He seems like a decent guy.
