its the man in the stand on about 9 1/2 that gets me, he represents every fan

Last Saturday at a social event attended by a group of town fans in West London when asked what my favourite period of being a town fan was: I thought of Robson years, 91/92, Burley's boys... and said "the last 6 months"

I know it's the 3rd tier, it wasn't beating Barcelona twice, lifting a trophy at Wembley and we came second.

But

The last 6 months were immense in terms of achievement, including or because of Oxford in the fog.

Whilst I didn't blub, I can wholeheartedly understand why that fella did. And I want more days like that, from the welcome of the team to PR all the way thru.

No pressure!
