Impact of added time on journeys and train timetables 09:09 - Aug 12 with 1279 viewsNeedhamChris

That hourly train back to Cambridge isn't going to work anymore I'd imagine - for me it'll be a case of driving to Stowmarket instead now and then getting the train from there.

Anyone else where an extra 10-15mins of game time changes things?

I haven't decided if I'm on board with it yet - feels a little after the horse has bolted for us now we're out of League 1. However - there's definitely some catching up to do around the logistics!

I've booked myself on the 17.19 to Liverpool Street, which would normally be a doddle even with injury time.

Not so sure now, so may have to leave a bit early if there is too much added time.

If this turns out to be a problem, I may have to look at getting the 17.44 but that won't get me home until about 20.45.

We were looking at the same!! It does look a challenge to make it given the new rules

Poll: How do you rate the new home kit out of 5?

Yes, we’re in a similar position getting back to Bury.

Really crap position - either miss a load of the game or have to wait around for ages for a packed train.

I wonder if it’s worth speaking to the club to see if they are able to work with the train company to improve the situation? Would an exra train or two around 18:00 work?

Have heard that the added time is going to be toned down a little , so maybe 9 mins instead of like the 13 we had for second half , as clubs and players have been complaining .

The Man City game last night was more in keeping with last years added time despite De Bruynes lengthy injury hold up first half.

We will see

Combined with 3-5 mins in the first half and a slow restart to the second half, still gets to after 17:00 finish?

Although with a 3-0 scoreline the referees tend to not add on so much time. There was already a nasty challenge in the 5 minutes that were added on.

Aha! Thanks! Had not appreciated the 18:21 to Cambridge is indirectly impacted by the strike action
