Town in 5 - Edwards 08:02 - Aug 14 with 2353 viewsBlueySwede

Just watched it and the reactions when we scored our second goal.
Edwards looks so happy and passionate, great to see. A shame he seems to be on his way out, always looks a threat when coming on.
Maybe he is a bit too much of a luxury player and I understand that he wants to start more regularly, it´s just a shame.
Good player that I wish all the best.

Poll: Will Paul Lambert be Ipswich Town manager on the final day of this season ?

My lad doesn't get to Town often and bumped into Greg after the game midweek.

He was delighted, as he's a huge fan of Freddie Ladapo.

Fortunately nobody else noted his faux pas.

On a side note, Leigh is a bloody nice guy.

Might look a threat, but with little to no end product, it's hard to see where he fits in at Town, at least when Jackson/Harness have some form of end product,

Yes he's quick, he's tricky and can beat his man, but when there's nothing at the end of it, it means very little,

If he had the end product in his locker, we wouldn't be looking at the likes of Rak-Sakyi, who can do all of what Edwards does, and produce an end product...

I disagree somewhat. I think Edwards has had quite a significant impact late on in games, despite the limited time he has played. Won several penalties last season and provided some valuable assets & goals late on in games, most notably against Portsmouth and Cambridge.

He certainly has more to offer than Aluko, but from Edwards point of view you can understand why he wants to move on. He's at crossroads in his career and needs to be starting games if he is to achieve his undoubted potential.

If he finds the right club, i fear he might be one we regret moving on.
