Playing against U21 teams in a senior competition was degrading.

At least we had our little run in the Cup last season, even if beating three teams only got us to the fourth round instead of the quarter-finals.

Won't lie. I enjoyed that cup. Seeing it for what it was - giving fringe and youth players a platform.

Like a pressure free match but a bit of extra midweek footie. Better than nothing on international week
