Last night was our best ever performance in the 2nd tier 12:06 - Oct 4 with 1112 views | ChampionsofInnsbruck | since the year 2000, surely, if not…. ever? I don’t think in my life I’ve seen us plus that well throughout and beat a very good side so comprehensively in the Championship/2nd Division. Even under Burley.. it was good but I don’t remember it ever being that good! That was an absolutely faultless performance from the entire team and from a tactical perspective a master class.

Last night was our best ever performance in the 2nd tier on 12:19 - Oct 4 with 1018 views | _clive_baker_ | There were some games under Burley where it was embarrassingly easy. One game I remember under George was (I think) against Reading. Just after deadline day one year, they had basically signed a whole new side and threw them all in. Unsurprisingly looked like a team of complete strangers, we battered them (4-0 maybe). If it was a Boxing match it would've finished at half time. Not sure if anyone remembers that one? The most encouraging thing about the result last night is that Hull are a good side. It's one thing being 4-0 up at half time against Morecambe as we were last season, but these guys are no Morecambe. You've got a £5m+ signing in Philogene and was very highly rated at Villa and cooked in this league for a poor Cardiff last season, Connelly another very highly rated young player who must've cost a bit from Brighton, he's already scored 5 goals this season. Liam Delap on loan from Man City who they rate highly (was hoping to see a long throw in his locker tbh), Morton on loan from Liverpool, Seri who has won the Championship and played in the PL with Fulham. They're no mugs. They had a spell where they had plenty of the ball without really creating much against a very well organised Town defence. We did well to limit them to a couple of speculative shots from distance which Hladky dealt with comfortably. Excellent performance all over the pitch. I think you'll need one at Swansea tonight if you're to snatch a point.
Last night was our best ever performance in the 2nd tier on 12:42 - Oct 4 with 947 views | itfc48 | It was glorious. We've been building up to this all season with some excellent play in patches mixed with great organisation however last night was a whole new level with sustained periods of high quality. With the way we play, it's highly likely we will concede an utterly disgusting goal at some point so as fans it's important we help pick the team up if/when this happens rather than moaning and groaning for a long period after.
