Lovely programme on 4Extra this morning on the archaeology, history, geography, nature, future etc. of the Fens, if anyone is interested. Missed the start, but I believe it was something by Francis Pryor, ex of Time Team, who may not be everybody's cup of tea if I remember correctly.
Is he the guy that found a Stone Age settlement in the middle of the fens but then realised he just arrived in Wisbech?
Years ago I was pursued relentlessly by a lass from Wisbech. She eventually brought me down with a bola, and forced me to gorge on her cake (the latter not a euphemism).

I've never been back there since.
I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
' may not be everybody's cup of tea' Yer, that's me, I would like to state again that I find Francis Pryor to be an awful pr1ck with a minimal understanding of prehistory and zero understanding of archaeological theory. His like Neil Oliver without the crazy conspiracy theories. There I've said it...

I think he said in this thing that he had mistaken a causeway for a house, which I suppose ought not be easy?
