Evans' squad role was backup to Morsy and you'd have to assume that's the role we'd go and fill if we were leaving him out of the squad post-January.
That being the case, I think it's got to be a recall for El Mizouni, hasn't it? Hard to imagine we could get a significantly better player prepared to be Morsy's understudy. |  |

Or Luongo who did similar despite being younger and having plenty of Championship experience and has also fought his way into the first eleven and continues to keep all others out. | |
