On Clarke, I was thinking the other day what a weird situation it would be if Williams keeps up his excellent form and Clarke is left to just do fist-pumps at the end of games. The local boy brought back for a million quid reduced to being chief cheerleader. I don’t think that’ll happen as Williams has surely got a suspension or two in him, but interested to see how this season pans out for him.
