It was entirely predictable. Whether the EFL would allow a televised match to be postponed until the evidence was seen of the River Don bursting its banks near the ground I doubt we shall never know.

Indeed, there was a flood alert earlier in the day, and according to the Environment Agency website, the ground is in an area at high risk of flooding (the highest level there is).
