Wayne Rooney’s Birmingham City 16:51 - Oct 21 with 1102 viewsChurchman

Watching Sky, every time they’ve gone to the Middlesbrough game their opponents have been referred to as the above. Have they officially changed their name? Not that I care. Scumbag club.

It just brings vomit inducing memories of ‘Roy Keane’s Ipswich’.

It must be quite hard for a big name player to find the space to develop as a coach/manager. They’re always going to be in the spotlight aren’t they? Agree the media’s fawning is sickening.

Anyway, I’m surprised he needs to work after the payday they received from the Vardys (Vardies?)

Still think it was a stupid decision to sack Eustane.

On an unrelated note their badge is horrid

I have no idea what that was about. Just off the basis of their league position and some of the positive things that were being said about them, it did seem like a ridiculous decision. I don’t know whether there was anything else to it other than another incompetent, star-struck knee jerk from an owner.

The did the same thing when they big named in Gianfranco Zola for Gary Rowett. They were sitting pretty around the playoffs under Rowett and were thne fighting for survival at the end of the season.

From reading the comment section on the Birmingham rags, a big number of fans were dismayed by Eustace' sacking. I hope the decision backfires again as Rowett and Eustace were done dirty for no tangible reason.
