I know for a fact that there is an academy product from the late 90s who only ended up making 4 sub appearances for us, yet he still gets 2 free tickets every home game.

That's probably just a sign of how far the club has come so quickly. At big clubs the bar is much higher and the criteria starts at X first team appearances.
When no one wants to go, ex players getting tickets to see mates and reminisce is hardly an issue. The ex-players association just needs to work with the club and update the terms and maybe for those who don't hit whatever they decide, there's a ballot system? |  |

Yeah, that’s what makes the weekend far worse for me.
The home demand maybe wasn’t foreseen, and certainly hasn’t been a problem for years. The situation of Norwich away should have been blatantly obvious.
The home situation will definitely become a similar problem when a light is shone on this issue more generally though. | |

All ex players are entitled to tickets at home, they’ve tightened it up somewhat but it’s a good thing to reward them in a 30k capacity stadium |  |
