The striker position is really interesting for us I think, it is obviously important, but I think when we are really functioning well the 3 behind the striker are likely to outscore the striker themselves (perhaps not all 3 individually, but certainly as a group I would expect them to well outscore the striker).
Hirst was pretty much perfect for it at championship level, it will be interesting to see how he steps up. I know we have been linked with a big offer for Ioannidis, but I wouldn't be surprised if that isn't actually a position we spend really big money on, just perhaps bring in someone with a bit of experience who will work hard in that role and rotate with Hirst. I think it is probably more important we bring in a real high quality CM, and that will likely take a good chunk of cash. | | | |

Also, we may change our style a bit this season. We aren't going to have to invite the press, and we are going to have less possession and more defending to do.
