At the end of the day, there's not much of a circus for Ipswich.
We've put in a bid, it got accepted and we've agreed terms with the player (reportedly).
Unless there's a load of mucking around with the terms because of the other bids, I doubt it matters to us what the other clubs are up to. At some point, the player will make a decision either way.
I'm sure we've had this with other transfers and just not known about it because we didn't have a load of national journalists involved.

A completely irrational thought, but I’m already thinking of him as a bit of a c0ck just through association with his agent! There’s no basis for that of course, he could well be a lovely fella.

Absolutely. That’s why it’s irrational. Although I thought KM could have been a bit more proactive. Same with Hladky saying he ‘hoped’ his contract would be signed. He didn’t need to hope - his agent works for him and it’s his contract offer. He should have just told his agent to get it done if he wanted to stay. | |
