Philogene - Bad idea? 12:05 - Jul 10 with 1375 views | WolfieAtTheBack | As well documented the agent here is running about like Danny Dyer on coke brokering their first major deal. You have to wonder is this deal a good fit for town, do we need to be involved in this circus?

Philogene - Bad idea? on 12:47 - Jul 10 with 941 views | DanTheMan | At the end of the day, there's not much of a circus for Ipswich. We've put in a bid, it got accepted and we've agreed terms with the player (reportedly). Unless there's a load of mucking around with the terms because of the other bids, I doubt it matters to us what the other clubs are up to. At some point, the player will make a decision either way. I'm sure we've had this with other transfers and just not known about it because we didn't have a load of national journalists involved. All just part of football when you're after a player that other clubs want.

Philogene - Bad idea? on 13:02 - Jul 10 with 806 views | Swansea_Blue | A completely irrational thought, but I’m already thinking of him as a bit of a c0ck just through association with his agent! There’s no basis for that of course, he could well be a lovely fella. So I’ll say no more and see what happens. If he wants to come here, fine. If not, so be it and we move on to someone who wants to be part of this exciting journey. Joe’s right - this is just the normal transfer shenanigans. Ashton’s a wide old head and won’t take any bull.

But McKenna is sound, right? Even though his agent was up to all sorts of tricks

Absolutely. That’s why it’s irrational. Although I thought KM could have been a bit more proactive. Same with Hladky saying he ‘hoped’ his contract would be signed. He didn’t need to hope - his agent works for him and it’s his contract offer. He should have just told his agent to get it done if he wanted to stay.
