Don't know about backup...I'd be happy with him as our No.1. Lots of experience of top flight (including Prem) and international football, coming off the back of a very good season. Excellent with his feet, good shot-stopper, and commands his area well. We do look to be aiming to sign young players this window, so doubt it's a deal we'd consider unfortunately. |  |

I would happily have him as our number one. Why spend £8-£10M on the other guy when he will be for nothing. Then spend a few quid on a back up with enough experience should they be needed. Makes sense to me, but I know nothing. |  |
