Glad it’s all over, tbh. Don’t think we needed Nelson — it was getting a bit Nottingham Forest.

Thought Edouard to Leicester and Ward-Prowse to ahem Forest were good signings 🤷‍♂️

Yeah. Obviously good that we go for the right player rather than just get anyone but we clearly wanted another main striker and once again we've gone through a summer window failing to find him. Bit different perhaps this time as the Broja fiasco was unexpected but get the impression we put all our eggs in that basket and now look a little silly having no solid plan B.

Pretty much agree, if the deals were not right for us financially then the best thing to do was walk away from them.
