Very satisfying first three matches 09:06 - Sep 1 with 1472 viewsAsa

Outside the drop zone having played 2 of the likely top 3 already.

We’ve got 3 of the 4 Champions League sides in our first 6. May well end up playing 4 of what ends up being the top 6 this season in our first 6.

I think after the Villa game especially we will really kick on.

7 goals conceded and 5 of those came in a combined 8 minute spell in the 270 minutes so far. Again, that gives lessons to learn but bodes well.

Loved how we played after the goal yesterday. That 5 minute spell of smothering them completely removed the chance of what City did to us last week and immediately reply.

Really have been impressed with how we’ve played, especially compared to some of the other sides in and around us.

And only 5 points off top 4...

In all seriousness, our next targets are, keep a clean sheet and score more than one goal in a game.

considering who we've played too, we've conceded the least amount of shots out of the promoted sides, and also conceded 11 less shots at goal than west ham v city, considering city were at home v us that's pretty good showing.

Considering how many new players we have , they look like a well co-ordinated unit already . Lots of positives from yesterday's performance .

I'm with you on the clean sheet but would be happy with a one nil away win at Brighton...

Brighton will be tough. They're a good side and have started strongly. Held arsenal to a draw yesterday, granted Arsenal had Rice sent off. If we can come away with a point from that game, I'll be delighted!

It was a tongue in cheek comment, I agree that Brighton is going back towards our first two games this season and we will be grateful even to get a draw...but at least they won't be fielding Sarmiento against us.
