Great to see him getting on the pitch on Saturday and playing a part in the build up to the goal, even if a small part.

No idea how he played in general, but a good example of when he might be used when we're a senior player like Phillips short.

I still think Taylor has a big future here.

He had a huge impact on the game. He was very positive and got us moving forward well. It was a nice surprise because it has felt like his time at Ipswich was almost up, but he has a lot of potential to stay in and around the team.

I imagine KM would scoff at the people who have been suggesting his time was up and that should have been moved out.

I doubt it. He only got involved as phillips was injured.

If taylor was in kms plans we wouldn't have gone for cajuste.

Status quo if phillips is back Saturday and Taylor not in the 18.

He's in his plans in so much that if there is an injury or suspension - there'll be a few instances of both across the season - he's going to contribute.

Of course as he's a squad player and the window is shut.

Taylor could well play his way into contention. Just because players came in for huge fees, it does not mean that they will play ahead of cheaper in form players. The fee just means that the players start ahead in the pecking order.
