Seen quite a bit of this in recent games. Clearly something that will get better with time so that's fine. But understandable why at present it's not helpful.

There were several instances in the Villa game of more than one defender going for the same aerial ball. Sometimes we won it, sometimes we didn't but even if you do win it, there's at least one defender out of position.

I noticed that. From memory it seemed to be O'Shea often going for the ball that wasn't really in his area.

It's pretty brutal tbh, I think it is pretty easy to pull the performance apart and I am sure the coaching team will do exactly that.

The question is, how do the players react vs Everton. I think we have half a decent Premier League side right now, and it is up to the other half to step up and show they are worthy of playing at this level.

Poll: If we sing for 90 mins for all remaining games, how many points is it worth?

This is a fair point, and shows that McKenna was entirely right to refer to West Ham being direct, and us finding that hard to deal with.

Fascinating that in the player rating graphic, Johnson scores (a lot) higher than any other player in the 'back 7'. I'm very surprised by that. I think we really missed Axel and am not convinced by Johnson so far (although mindless abuse is never justified of course). I'm very happy to be shown to be wrong on this, but I certainly didn't have any preconceptions of him or biases. Hopefully he'll step up in Axel's absence. The training ground will be well used over the next couple of weeks...
