January transfer window 16:26 - Dec 8 with 1153 viewsgtsb1966

Looking at the fixtures if we can only get 1 point from Fulham, Everton, Palace and Bournemouth at home I don't hold a lot of hope for the next few weeks. We're going down aren't we let's be honest. I'm hoping , and certainly we must have, we have a plan for relegation. If we look doomed come January I wouldn't buy anyone. January is usually a time for panic buys with even more overinflated prices. My personal opinion is we're doomed but I do believe we will be back for the 2026/27 season a much stronger side. Sorry for the negativity but we really aren't good enough...yet.

I think we might find our ability to hold onto the likes of Davis and Delap /somewhat/ impacted should we go down. Being a 'much stronger side' without them will be... difficult.

Sell and reinvest. Its the business model.

No he isn't, how anyone honestly believes we will stay up after today is deluded. I'd take just winning A game at home right now.

They'll definitely go I agree. But I still think we would go straight back up with a better chance of staying up especially if we buy well that summer.

We are only a couple of signings of stay in the PL, so I expect us to go for it. The Championship is a very, very difficult league to get out of. I would rather gamble and lose than just to settle our fate.

Look at the results 1 in 15 says we are not close, we are miles off it and second half of season is usually worse for promoted sides.

We need to pick up points now if we want to attract people.

We usually wait until Jan 31st to sign a striker.

We aren’t miles off it at all, we are just collectively not quite good enough at the moment and are losing by fine margins.

The injuries to Hirst and Tuanzebe are hurting us so much as Delap is knackered and we can’t rest him (until he gets suspended).

Johnson did well today, but was clearly struggling at the end.

We needed him in front of Axel for the last 30 mins.

All teams have injuries and Johnson was being roasted for most of the first half by Semenyo but did improve. We just can't see a game out, there seems to be a loss of team spirit and no leaders.
