Useful to think back to this time year 17:02 - Dec 22 with 888 viewsjasondozzell

A great start and then over Christmas and New Year the team managed to keep going despite some difficult injuries, especially Hirst. Some 'supporters' threw their toys out of the pram because of draws with a couple of teams whilst in reality the team managed to get through tough period in a decent fashion until January saw the cavalry arrive and new players make a significant impact.

Take heart!

Its quite funny you mention that.

Those who threw their toys had bemoaned not getting another striker in the summer. We didn't manage well when we lost hirst and it took time to get moore late Jan before we starting winning again.

This time round. We're seeing the issues with only having 1 fit striker and are waiting until January to see if we can get another one.

Hopefully we get the same result and the season ends In joy.

Let's hope so! Yeah, getting a PL version of Moore type figure is crucial. Strikers are gassed to find at the best of times but even more so in January.

Also the season before in league 1. We had a pretty poor run of from around the festive period, or possibly just after, and thought we'd fallen too far behind the automatic places

Clearly the winter weather isn't conducive to McKenna's brand of free-flowing football. Roll on spring and a ridiculous run of form that defies belief and silences all the haterz

Moore didn't play until Feb.

Hopefully we are quicker off the mark this year.

Poll: Would Lambert have acheived better results than Cook if given the same resources

That season was where we signed harness then realised he wasn't good enough so signed broadhead in Jan to replace him after 3 months. Signed Davis and outspent all of league 1 in 1 window. Lol.

Yep - remember the Lincoln away game. That's probably the only time I've seen KMac look slightly rattled on a interview when he said 'getting out of this league is going to be tough'.

But he stuck to his process and he knew it would come right. He was correct.

It's the same now. We should all back the team and the process - we know his coaching is second to none. We've done so well to stay in the fight.

Get behind the team and stop moaning about Muric and all the rest of it!

January will be interesting and we will go again!
