Turns out Man City are quite good. Doku and KDB on that *left* hand side, bloody hell - Johnson and Godfrey's only real comfort is that it won't ever be quite as bad as that, ever again... oh, Anfield next week, lovely.
Ignoring the usual attention seeking sh1te speckled about elsewhere on the board, majority opinion here is that we weren't perfect (duh...) but also that Man City took out about 2 months worth of frustration on us today. I agree with this.
For the second game in a row, Hutch's decision making was pretty poor, and, again, I really struggle to see where Jack Clarke adds value to this team. Obviously his horror ball for the 4th was what it was, but, from a wider perspective, he just doesn't seem to fit.
I adore Morsy - but he looked slow today - and Cajuste was getting battered by their press.
Genuinely hard to take a balanced view when the opposition are worth £1 billion, and were fully in the mood. Haaland runs like he's trying to break into Isengard - perhaps there's £380m inside there.
In unsurprising news, strong teams will sometimes dick the weaker teams in this league - Spurs and Wolves have also let in 6 at home this year, and West Ham have let 5 in twice. It's no fun at all to watch, but, like VAR, Bournemouth's money-laundering and Jim White faux-sqauwking on Talksport, these occasional bummings are, grimly, part of the modern Premier League.
Today won't decide the season, and it seems like the vast majority of those who attend games are still with McK, as, indeed, they should be.
