I don't recall 2002 being down to a loss of confidence after 2 heavy defeats. Didn't we go on a really good run to give ourselves a really good chance of staying up ... and then capitulate at Bolton and finish up with a thumping at Anfield? This doesn't seem the same at all.

Yes, McKenna needs to lift the team but I am sure he will get them to put these two behind them and start afresh. The GD has taken a thumping and means we will need to get more points than Wolves (unless Liverpool and Man City do the same or worse to them).
