I think it's similar when people say Player X is a 'Championship Player' because they're not smashing it every week in the Prem at the minute. Lots of players who step up take a while to reach the level. The fact that some of our signings aren't consistently there yet doesn't meant that they won't ever be a that level. |  |

Exactly that. Ashton said we would make a mix of signings. But a lot would be young British talent with a view to further development. We're not just getting in any type of players. This latest Chelsea youngsters is a prime example, as was Omari, and Mckenna clearly sees something in Phillogene. This squad, if we hang onto most of them, will be a helluva team over the next couple of seasons. It takes time. |  |

Yep, and for someone like Greaves we've paid for a top Championship player who was in the team of the year for that value to be realised over more than just this year. [Post edited 4 Feb 11:13]
