I'm not from Norfolk but......... on 08:58 - Feb 15 with 1021 views | Portmanteauxcurling | I drove her to the hospital for an MRI scan to check that all's well still after her operation to have a tumour removed. The procedure went well so now the wait to hear if the results are still good.

Thanks Keno and the upvoters. We had a phone call from the hospital today with the great news that the scan revealed that all's clear and there's no sign of any cancer present. It will continue to be monitored with blood tests and another scan in a year's time. Very good luck and best wishes to anyone else who's going through anything similar.

That’s very good news. Yes, she’ll be monitored and well looked after. Had this gig with Mrs C last year so ‘know the drill’, if that’s the right phrase. As indicated in the thread about happiness or lack of it at the moment, there are some terrific, kind people out there, including some on this forum who will not be named. I know NHS is patchy, under resourced and under funded, but the care Mrs C received was faultless and she too will be monitored for the foreseeable,
