Joao Gomes 22:44 - Apr 5 with 1755 views | Simonds92 | One of the best players to play at PR this season imo. Phenomenal player. We played the 4th worst team in the league today and as individuals they are so many levels above the teams we've played against in the championship. I just can't see how any of the promoted teams can stay up these days.

They signed Gomez the same season they signed Kalajdicz (£15m), Hwang (£15m), Guedes (£35m) and Lemina(£9m) who with the exception of Hwang made little or no impact and now either moved on for less. We do need to look overseas but it’s just as difficult to find the gems, not to mention the challenge of culturally settling an overseas player when you don’t have many in the squad.
