One of the best players to play at PR this season imo. Phenomenal player.

We played the 4th worst team in the league today and as individuals they are so many levels above the teams we've played against in the championship. I just can't see how any of the promoted teams can stay up these days.

A lot of central midfielders have shone at PR this season. Gomes, Tonali, Gravenbach, DeBruyne, Maddison (in his cameo)

That’s what you get when you tap the overseas market instead of having tunnel vision and only focusing on recruiting native English speakers coming through the domestic system

They signed Gomez the same season they signed Kalajdicz (£15m), Hwang (£15m), Guedes (£35m) and Lemina(£9m) who with the exception of Hwang made little or no impact and now either moved on for less.

We do need to look overseas but it’s just as difficult to find the gems, not to mention the challenge of culturally settling an overseas player when you don’t have many in the squad.
