The Championship 10:03 - Apr 8 with 1329 viewsMetal_Hacker

After looking at the fixtures tonight it makes me remember why I’ve missed it

Some cracking games

Derby v Burnley
Boro v Leeds
Bristol City v West Brom
Stoke v Luton

Something on all of these games

Roll on next season

I’ve certainly missed the midweek fixtures.

And going to PR thinking we might actually win.

I love the hectic Championship schedule. We've played 12 league games in 2025, tonight is Leeds' 17th.

The midweek fixtures are great, knocking off work and heading to PR under the lights, those extra 8 games in the Championship make a big difference.

Plus as you say we should have a bit more to shout about next season, especially if we can keep 9 or 10 of O'Shea, Greaves, Davis, Hutchinson, Philogene, J.Clarke, Szmodics, Broadhead, Burns, Chaplin, Hirst, Delap. Invest in CM and carry some of the continuity into next season from keeping 75% of the above group together.

Nodge v Sunderland too, should see one of the final nails in the playoff hopes for the six-fingered ones.

If they do scrape 6th place somehow, wll be fun to see a replay of them V Leeds.

I don't, I hope they finish midtable and get as little money as possible from this season.

Hopefully Sargent and Sainz are both picked off in the summer and they can face into a season of mediocrity while we smash them twice.

They seem to be quite hard to beat at home, feck knows why

The current boss seems to be obsessed with possession so they hold onto it ages, zipping it about in ineffective areas but don't look overly convincing in the final third

Their goal return is alright from what I can see but a fair portion of that is Sargeant and Sainz

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!
