Emotional. I went to Normandy last year, the beaches, museums, towns are more inclusive and curating of the War history. Saint Marie Eglise, Juno, Utah, Omah, the history is all around and the museums are excellent. The tanks remain in situ on piers and in towns. The relics are in cafes and on information boards. Would recommend a holiday and indulge in the living history.

Great bit of artwork. Very moving. The battle for Normandy that followed DDay was a hard, cruel affair. The losses were horrendous.
