Thought he was excellent in the Austrian friendly. Looks to have grown as player in all senses. Looked to have put on a bit of muscle and played well.
He probably needs to keep the momentum and play so maybe a loan but equally if he stays I would not be surprised either if he forced his way as a squad regular.
I do think we will sign 2 more quality CMs so it's a tough one with him not being an u21 for the squad rules. | |

He’s my pick to surprise this season too. He was stand out for Wycombe, so has come a long way from the relatively timid performances we saw from him in L1. |  |

He probably suffers with Jack Taylor being here.
Taylor isn't going to start regularly (presumably), so they're then probably battling it out for that 2nd RCM slot behind a new signing.
And maybe the other gets sold?
Edit: i.e. If Taylor was good enough to start regularly, Cam could compete with him to start, rather than be competing for bench opportunities. [Post edited 24 Jul 2025 17:24]
