But an entirely predictable one, entirely of the government's own making. It's very easy mental gymnastics to justify police taking this action. It only needs to "arouse reasonable suspicion that an individual is a supporter of a proscribed organisation". Here we have a situation where people go out and protest in favour of the exact same thing as that proscribed group, saying the same things. Is it unreasonable to think that protesters, protesting the same thing might support each other? They clearly support the same goals as the 'terrorists'. Is that enough? I hadn’t seen that. But according to the Israeli spokesman on R4 this morning, the UN are allied to Hamas and are starving out the population in Gaza. So they sound dodgy and untrustworthy to me. *sarcasm off* [Post edited 25 Jul 18:19]
