Walton chained to his line before third goal 23:13 - Oct 21 with 1803 viewsDublinBlue84

Can someone explain to me why Walton appeared to be handcuffed to his line almost in the lead up to the third goal?

There was a ball that come right across in front of him that should have been his all day long and instead we gave away possession.

Poll: Should Davis have been sent off?

He was still on his way down for the first goal?

That was pretty funny.

I think its a bit rough to criticise Walton. A tough one for him to come in to and he made a couple of smart saves, the problems were all in front of him. I thought Young in possession is neat and tidy and clearly has quality on the ball but he was pulled all over the shop. If we're paying him £60k a week why didn't we offer Axel a deal he couldn't turn down. Furlong will be straight back in and I'd keep him there.

Neither O'Shea nor Greaves covered themselves in glory, Cajuste was piss poor as well. I'm sick of hearing people say he's a 'cheat code' because he does a nice turn occasionally when most of the game he's ineffectual, doesn't cover the ground and lets his man run off him with ease.

Clarke deserves a bit of credit and I'm glad the crowd recognised it, he was one of few that looked half interested. Akpom is neat and tidy in possession, he was alright. Ivan put himself about a bit. McAteer looks like a £2m Championship plodder who we've paid massively over the odds for.

Awful day (night) at the office that. Talk of McKenna going is ridiculous and premature, but he'll certainly be feeling some pressure and understandably. 3 wins from 10, not good enough.

He spent the first half on the half way line so perhaps he fancied a change of scenery.

We are giving him a game only because we have to.

Makes the odd good save but that is it.

We haven't dealt with the goalkeeper situation since allowing Hladky, one of my favourite ever Town players, to leave. He lifted us, was crucial to us.

We would rather have him than Hladky - who helped us get top 2 last time around, at this level.

His a average championship keeper I'd say 90% of back up keepers are the same in the EFL

To be fair, in recent times I loved watching Hladky too. He was one of the big reasons we got promoted. He couldn't catch a cross, but I can forgive that because he was predictable and would punch. You can work around a predictable goalie. His shot stopping was underrated too.

Still think he should have been given a chance.

I’d have him over any of our current lot and it’s not even close.

Poll: We’ve got super KM, he knows exactly what we need. Woolfie at the back…
